When choosing an alarm company to install your alarm system please ensure that they are accredited to an inspectorate body such as SSAIB, NSI or UKAS. These bodies carry out an in depth inspection on how the business is being run, the systems being installed to the correct standards PD6662:2004 & EN50131-1 they also carry out six monthly checks on how the company is performing within these standards. Only certified companies can issue a Certificates of Conformity which can also help you get a discount from your insurers
